KDE e.V. supports the KDE community, and has a staff of people to make that happen. Your contributions make that possible. I’ve been saying that for ages. But did you know that the FreeBSD Foundation supports the FreeBSD community, and works on the same basis? There’s even an open position for Userland work! It’s largely C, but an underlying idea is to make things better for desktop environments and end-users. Now who could that help?
