Regularly, some foolish web quiz (what file format are you? Ogg. What OS are you? PalmOS. etc. etc.) makes the rounds and lots of people fill them in and post to their blogs. Oh dear. I thought I was shooting for a mid-range nerd-score, but apparently knowing enough of the periodic table and recognizing photographs (heck, I don’t even own a telescope!) is enough to propel you into the upper reaches of nerddom. And I must say that the question about the “highest level” of mathematics is very confusing – who is to say which of logic or linear algebra is “higher;”?
