Huzzah, a new dot
The new dot is up; for a moment when I hit the “dot is down” page twenty minutes ago I thought we were going to have a very unfortunately timed bit of downtime (aren’t they all?) around the 4.2 release, but then I remembered Kyle C. and his cunning and wiley ways. He sat there under a palm tree in Jamaica, scheming, scheming, and muttering about comment threading.
The new dot requires an account to comment; that’s a step forward in balancing nonsensical negativity against necessary negativity. Until I remember my OpenID account that means I can’t say anything. That might be a good thing.
